Experience Required: 15 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi fundamentals and 802.11 protocols (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be)
- Collaborate with Product & Development teams to define technical and product requirements
- Drive Wi-Fi strategy, performance characterization, and engineering investigations
- Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve product defects
- Review architecture/design specifications and ensure testability & verification
- Support QA test methodologies and automation strategies
- Work with advanced Wi-Fi test automation frameworks and industry standards (IEEE, WFA, WBA, IETF)
- Perform root cause analysis and lead issue resolution efforts
Required Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi antennas, RF/frequency coordination, WLAN technologies, and IP protocols
- Moderate scripting knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with home networking technologies like Bluetooth, Matter, and broadband products
- Knowledge of DOCSIS, Ethernet, and Cable Modem standards
- Experience in automated testing environments and consumer device testing
- Ability to collaborate with vendors/technology partners on architecture decisions
- Familiarity with data science tools, scripting, and programming languages
