Role Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled Network Lab Infrastructure Engineer / Lead with strong networking and programming expertise to support and build end-to-end lab and rack infrastructure environments.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies, troubleshooting complex network environments, and leading infrastructure initiatives while interacting directly with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage end-to-end lab and rack infrastructure environments
- Perform network surveillance, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve network-related issues promptly
- Analyze network layer and logical issues using standard isolation methodologies
- Utilize tools for router access, circuit testing, ticket management, and network analytics
- Configure and support Cisco/Juniper routers and LAN switching environments
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify operational issues
- Troubleshoot routing and switching protocols including:
- MPLS
- OSPF
- EIGRP
- BGP
- IPSec
- IPVPN
- Manage DNS, NTP, Firewalls, and ACL configurations
- Support IPv4 and IPv6 networking environments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership
- Handle customer service requests and ensure SLA adherence
- Prepare technical reports and present updates to leadership teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field
- 3 5 years of relevant networking and infrastructure experience
- Strong networking background with programming/scripting exposure
- Hands-on experience with Cisco or Juniper routers and LAN switches
- Strong understanding of:
- IP Networking
- MPLS
- OSPF
- EIGRP
- BGP
- IPSec
- IPVPN
- Experience with network management and performance analysis tools
- Knowledge of DNS, NTP, Firewalls, and ACLs
- Familiarity with IPv6 networking
- ITIL process knowledge and operational support experience
- Active CCNA Certification is mandatory
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
