Arbor Place Residential Memory Care
Arbor Place is seeking a warm, engaging, and creative Art Enrichment Leader to provide meaningful, accessible art experiences for older adults in a small residential memory care setting.
This role focuses on connection, participation, and expression, not artistic performance. We are looking for someone who can create a welcoming atmosphere, encourage involvement, and adapt activities so that each resident feels successful and included.
This position is a strong fit for individuals with experience teaching students, leading camps, facilitating art activities, or guiding hands-on creative work. Retirees and those returning to the workforce are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do
- Lead small-group and one-on-one art activities (painting, drawing, collage, simple crafts)
- Create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation
- Adapt activities to different cognitive and physical abilities
- Engage residents who may be hesitant or need additional support
- Prepare and organize materials; assist with setup and cleanup
- Collaborate with staff to support a smooth and engaging day
What We’re Looking For
- Experience teaching, leading groups, or facilitating activities (schools, camps, studios, community programs)
- Creative, flexible, and comfortable adjusting in real time
- Warm, upbeat, and naturally engaging with others
- Reliable and consistent
Experience with older adults or memory care is helpful, but not required.
Why Arbor Place
