Arbor Place Residential Memory Care
Schedule: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM or 10:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
Arbor Place is seeking warm, upbeat, engaging Activities Leaders to provide meaningful music- and art-based programming for older adults in a small residential memory care setting.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading groups, encouraging participation, and creating a positive, welcoming atmosphere. We are especially interested in individuals with experience teaching students, leading camps, facilitating enrichment programs, or guiding creative activities. Retirees and others with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Lead music and/or art and interactive activities for small groups and individual residents
- Encourage participation in a warm, flexible, and respectful way
- Adapt activities to varying cognitive and physical abilities
- Help create a lively, supportive daily experience for residents
- Assist with basic setup and cleanup of activity materials
- Work collaboratively with staff in a small team environment
Qualifications
- Experience teaching, leading camps, facilitating groups, or running activities
- Positive, engaging, and dependable
- Comfortable working with older adults
- Music, art, education, recreation, or enrichment experience preferred
- Memory care or senior living experience helpful, but not required
