Prevention Coordinator

Position Details

Coordinate and provide quality, strengths-based education around mental health and wellness and substance use disorder prevention to youth, professionals, and the community. Services are provided in various community settings. Position responsibilities include outreach, group facilitation, program development, and evaluation. Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma-informed care, hope, and evidence-based research. An openness to embrace and explore bias, equity issues, successes, and challenges from a place of understanding and curiosity is needed to succeed and develop in the position and organization.
 
Position Requirements:
 
 * Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Mental Health
 * Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
 * Knowledge and understanding of Ottawa County Resources
 * Experience facilitating and leading groups
