SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for the continuous operation and reliability of our facility’s production equipment and infrastructure. You will lead a dedicated team of technicians to ensure that all mechanical, electrical, and building systems are maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise, strategic planning, and a commitment to operational excellence to minimize downtime in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM:
- Oversee a multi-shift team of maintenance technicians, providing technical guidance, scheduling, and performance management to foster a high-performing culture.
- Develop and execute a robust Preventative Maintenance (PM) program for high-speed printing presses, bindery equipment, and facility HVAC/electrical systems.
- Manage the maintenance budget, oversee parts inventory, and coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs or capital projects.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify root causes of equipment failure and implement long-term mechanical or electrical solutions.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and hazardous material handling.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- A minimum of 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing or printing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC logic, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive components.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex machinery under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and soft skills to collaborate effectively with production managers, shift leads, and external contractors.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree or technical certification in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related field is highly preferred.
