From the moment the doors open, you set the tone—welcoming walk-in customers, learning what they need, and guiding them to the right products. You’ll demonstrate features, offer recommendations, and keep the flow moving by precisely handling orders, returns, and transactions. Between customer conversations, you’ll keep the counter spotless, shelves stocked, and communications moving across phone, email, and in person. You’ll also pitch in with educational classes—setting up, cleaning up, and placing courtesy calls to attendees—while partnering with teammates and other departments to keep everything running smoothly, including following up on past-due accounts as directed.
What you’ll do
- Warmly greet and assist walk-in customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Share product knowledge, make thoughtful recommendations, and provide demonstrations.
- Accurately process sales orders, returns, and all point-of-sale transactions with strong attention to detail.
- Handle cash and credit card tenders, prepare deposits, and follow established procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom and counter environment.
- Replenish and stock merchandise in both the showroom and the stockroom as needed.
- Respond quickly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face.
- Support sales and marketing by assisting with educational classes, including setup and cleanup.
- Make courtesy calls to class attendees and follow up on past-due accounts as directed.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and satisfied customers.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $18-20.00
