Purpose of the Job

The Regional Director – North America is a key leadership position focused on guiding the company's strategic initiatives and operational excellence across all North American markets. Job Description
  • Strategically contribute as a vital member of the Market Management Team by delivering comprehensive and data-driven insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and performance metrics to the Regional Vice President.
  • Lead the design and rollout of innovative market strategies tailored to North American customer needs, ensuring alignment with the broader corporate growth plans.
  • Establish and sustain high-level relationships with key clients, partners, and suppliers, enhancing client satisfaction and expanding market share across products and services.
  • Drive the execution of regional strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with corporate directives and maximizing operational efficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed, actionable strategic roadmap that targets revenue growth, market expansion, product portfolio diversification, and vertical penetration.
  • Oversee financial planning, budget management, and adherence to corporate fiscal policies to ensure profitability and resource optimization.
  • Formulate and implement dynamic product positioning and pricing strategies that accelerate sales growth, customer acquisition, and retention in alignment with global policies.
  • Champion region-wide communication and engagement initiatives to build collaborative, high-performing teams across diverse functional areas.
  • Assume comprehensive P&L accountability, rigorously monitoring financial outcomes to meet or exceed profitability objectives.
  • Anticipate market risks and formulate contingency plans to address underperformance, maintaining business continuity and resilience.
  • Ensure strong alignment with other regional markets through effective communication channels that facilitate knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-regional and central corporate teams to leverage synergies, share best practices, and enhance competitive intelligence.
  • Promote a dynamic, inclusive workplace culture that empowers employees and supports sustainable business practices.
  • Apply strategic judgment and decisiveness in navigating complex business challenges, safeguarding the company’s reputation and reinforcing brand equity.
  • Continuously nurture partnerships with external stakeholders—including customers, regulators, suppliers, and industry bodies—to reinforce business development and compliance standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, encompassing employment standards, corporate governance, environmental policies, intellectual property, and data privacy.
  • Enforce adherence to Aramex's global and local governance frameworks, maintaining operational integrity and ethical standards throughout the region.
  • Take ownership of the responsibilities inherent in this senior leadership role, demonstrating exemplary professionalism and commitment to corporate governance.
Job Requirements - Experience and Education
  • Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience in senior leadership positions within logistics, supply chain management, or related commercial sectors.
  • University degree or equivalent advanced qualification in Business Administration, Commerce, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in influencing and negotiating with senior leaders internally and externally to advance organizational goals.
  • Proven record of delivering sustained business growth through strategic decision-making and operational leadership.
  • Commitment to high standards of excellence and a passion for driving team and organizational performance.
  • High level of motivation, energy, and ownership, with a strong sense of accountability for outcomes.
  • Commercially astute with customer-focused orientation, adept at creating value and responding to evolving market demands.
  • Exceptional collaborative skills fostering effective partnerships across diverse teams and business units.
  • Strong analytical capacity and numerical proficiency supporting fact-based decision making and problem solving.
