Job Title: Production Supervisor
Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading production employees to perform in a proficient manner. This includes providing motivation through personal example and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure employees are following all safety and operating procedures
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
- Maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws/regulations that affect Market Center operations and safety
- Supervise, evaluate, and provide performance feedback to ensure all company standards are met
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced production environment is required
- One plus years supervisory experience is preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations is necessary
Work Environment and Safety Requirements
This role requires the ability to work in an adverse environment with varying temperatures and conditions seasonally. The successful candidate must also be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs when necessary, as well as remain standing/walking for extended amounts of time daily.
Education and Certifications
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, while a Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Additionally, certifications such as those related to OSHA and safety regulations are beneficial.
