What You’ll Do
- Lead complex product design and troubleshooting, applying extensive research and analysis to resolve intricate challenges.
- Drive comprehensive system design, specification development, program logic, and robust testing, debugging, and documentation practices.
- Make critical architectural and design choices that will strategically guide development teams.
- Lead complex programming initiatives, providing thorough technical reviews of development efforts and documentation to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
- Analyze complex technical problems and propose innovative, effective solutions.
- Serve as a key technical contributor in collaborative interactions with stakeholders, translating business needs into robust technology solutions.
- Collaborate closely with enterprise architecture and infrastructure teams to define and implement strategic designs and initiatives.
- Lead the rapid troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues across development and production environments, ensuring system stability and performance.
- 1 years of experience with Java and J2EE (both client and server-side).
- 1 years of experience with Object-Oriented Analysis/Design (OOA/OOD), distributed systems/software, real-time processing, relational database systems, and messaging systems.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns (GoF).
- Experience with agile methodologies and test-driven development.
- Demonstrated experience working with core business logic within applications.
- Experience in developing APIs and Frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience developing downloadable desktop applications.
- Experience with concurrency and multi-threading.
- Experience with scaling, Java Garbage Collection, and performance tuning.
- Experience with rich UI frameworks such as Angular JS, jQuery, HTML 5, Swing, Java FX, or similar frameworks/APIs.
- Experience with application development frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, JSF, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Unix/Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems.
- Experience with build, deploy, and test automation tools like Ant, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity, JUnit, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of finance and/or the trading domain.
