In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring financial precision and operational excellence, directly contributing to the success of high-profile projects and global communications efforts. Your expertise will directly influence the efficient allocation of resources and the strategic financial planning that underpins the creation of world-class entertainment.
What You Will Do
- Provide strategic operational support for the financial management of budgeting, reporting, forecasting, purchase orders, and daily invoices across global Publicity, Studio Communications, Talent Relations, Awards, and Events.
- Manage timely reporting and analyze actuals versus budget cost reports to ensure accuracy and quickly resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including Finance, Travel, Business Affairs, and Legal, in the creation and vetting of budgets, strategically resolving issues to ensure an efficient process.
- Assist in the contract review and cost analysis process in conjunction with Finance and Procurement.
- Manage the setup of vendors and external partners in collaboration with Procurement.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic billing and purchase order development and execution within the entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of tracking budgets and financial planning.
- Ability to determine resources, track costs, and establish partnerships across original content production and distribution teams.
- Proactive thinker who can prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
