Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of enrollment applications (initial and revalidations) for healthcare facilities and providers.
- Provide quality control for individual enrollment applications submitted for government programs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Resolve claims issues for individual payers within the corporate billing system.
- Research, complete, and maintain compliance with individual government payers through credentialing, re-credentialing, and audit processes and procedures.
- Contact providers upon receipt of revalidation notices to obtain necessary signatures and validate current general information.
- Interact with field and operations management regarding escalation notices.
- Minimize denials and deactivation of government applications to reduce key metrics such including cost to collect and aged claims.
- Update credentialing and billing systems with provider information upon inquiry or receipt from government and commercial payers.
- Ensure corporate compliance with statutory requirements for government and commercial enrollment for healthcare facilities and providers.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external vendors, building strong partnerships through relationship-building skills.
- Interface directly with providers, payer relations, and revenue cycle operations teams (credentialing, accounts receivable, billing, and call center), as well as clinical operations teams and field and operations management, to ensure integrated processes.
- * Manage mail-based documentation and workflows.
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable and consistent attendance.
- 1-2 years of experience with government payers (Medicare/Medicaid).
- Insurance experience is considered a strong transferable skill.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
