Social Media Content Creator

This is an on-site role in Framingham, MA.

Pay Range: $50/hr - $56/hr

As a strategic partner to a leading national retailer, Aquent is seeking a talented and passionate creative professional to join their dynamic in-house team. This organization is at the forefront of delivering engaging content that connects with millions of customers daily, shaping trends and driving brand loyalty. You'll be instrumental in crafting compelling visual narratives that resonate across diverse digital platforms, directly influencing customer engagement and brand perception.

Are you a social media maestro with a knack for creating viral content? Do you live and breathe the latest digital trends, understanding the nuances of every platform from TikTok to Instagram? We're looking for a Senior Creative Services professional to become a pivotal part of an innovative team, where your creativity will directly shape how a beloved brand connects with its audience. In this role, you'll concept, shoot, and produce groundbreaking social media content, making a tangible impact on brand visibility and customer interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Concept and craft innovative, strategically driven short-form video content (Reels, Stories, TikToks) for both organic and paid social media markets.
• Actively tap into current social media trends and adapt content strategies to platform-specific algorithms and audience behaviors.
• Communicate brand messages in a fresh, forward-thinking, and platform-specific way across all social media channels.
• Lead content creation efforts across platforms, including shooting videos and photos in retail locations to capture authentic moments.
• Collaborate hands-on with a creative team, including management, designers, and writers, to meet project objectives and deadlines.
• Support the development of breakthrough content and design that aligns with brand strategy and guidelines to drive traffic and transactions.
• Respond to monthly, weekly, and daily briefs from partners, adapting content based on constructive, business-driven feedback in a timely manner.
• Travel locally as required to capture on-site content (transportation not provided).

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience as a designer with related work experience.
• 3 years of experience in social media content creation and/or editing.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Media, Communications, or a similar field.
• Proven understanding of the algorithms for both Instagram and TikTok.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, and either Premiere Pro or After Effects.
• Proficiency in either CapCut or Splice.
• A strong portfolio showcasing relevant assets, including video content, IG story frames, carousels, Reels, or TikTok videos capitalizing on platform trends.
• Links to your personal Instagram and/or TikTok platforms.
• Skilled in photography and video capture using an iPhone.
• Understanding of typography principles.

• A passion for and deep proficiency in social media platforms.
• Intelligent thinking, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy.
