Role Description The Pool Construction Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hudson, NH. This role is responsible for assisting with all phases of pool and spa construction, including site preparation, layout, excavation support, framing, installation of pool structures and components, and basic plumbing and electrical coordination under supervision. Day-to-day tasks include operating hand and power tools, mixing and applying concrete or other materials, setting liners or finishes, backfilling and grading, and helping ensure project sites are clean, safe, and organized. The specialist will follow construction plans and instructions from supervisors, perform basic measurements and leveling, and assist with troubleshooting issues that arise during installation. This role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions, lifting and moving materials, driving to job sites as needed, and interacting professionally with clients and team members.
Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in construction, landscaping, masonry, or a related trade, ideally with exposure to pool or outdoor living projects.
- Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools, read a tape measure, and follow construction drawings or layout directions.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, digging, and extended standing.
- Basic understanding of job site safety practices, willingness to follow company safety procedures, and use of personal protective equipment.
- Reliable transportation to the Hudson, NH location and regional job sites, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take direction and work independently when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or trade training in construction or related fields is a plus.
- Prior experience in pool construction, concrete work, plumbing, or light electrical work is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn on the job is essential.
