Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Water Well Pump Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting water well pumps and associated systems. Your expertise will ensure the reliable operation of water supply systems for residential, commercial, and agricultural clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience to deliver exceptional service and solutions.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain water well pumps, pressure tanks, and related plumbing systems on various construction sites and properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installations and repairs
- Install and repair Submersible well pumps, Pressure tanks, switches, control systems and related equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot no water / low pressure issues
- Perform pump system inspections and maintenance
- Respond to service calls and emergency water system issues
- Complete job documentation (photos, materials, time tracking)
- Maintain service truck inventory, tools, and cleanliness
- Follow safety standards and DOT/CDL requirements when applicable
Experience
- Prior experience with a focus on plumbing, mechanical, electrical or pump systems is highly preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in the field
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all seasons
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Mechanical aptitude (required)
