Key Objectives & Responsibilities:
- Zero Downtime Culture: AquaSonic locations are open 362 days a year, operating for 14 hours a day or a total of 5068 hours annually. Collaborate closely with team members to minimize downtime to 10 hours or less per year, prioritizing operational excellence. Our maintenance team members take ownership of this critical task.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on car wash equipment to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues related to car wash systems and equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement and follow preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and resolve issues efficiently to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, order necessary parts and supplies, and manage stock levels to support maintenance activities.
- Documentation: Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation accurately and timely to track maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, and promote a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with other maintenance technicians, supervisors, and operations teams to prioritize tasks, share knowledge, and achieve maintenance goals.
Person Spec & Key Competencies:
- Car Wash Maintenance Knowledge: Candidate must have 6 months of experience in Maintenance Tech 1 role in car wash or 2 years of experience working in any role in a high-volume car wash.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Attention to Detail: Thoroughness and attention to detail in performing maintenance tasks, documenting work, and ensuring accuracy.
- Safety Consciousness: Commitment to safety protocols, hazard awareness, and safe work practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with others, communicate effectively, and contribute positively to team goals and objectives.
- Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities, work environments, and tasks in a dynamic maintenance setting.
- Initiative: Proactive approach to identifying maintenance needs, addressing issues, and taking initiative to improve maintenance processes and outcomes.
