Responsibilities
- Review US international income tax returns including Forms 8865, 5471, and 8858.
- Track and model tax positions and their potential impacts on the company's effective tax rate.
- Update projections based on business forecasts to understand foreign inclusions.
- Research tax impacts and determine required disclosures related to transactions.
- Build and develop relationships across the business to understand and optimize the various business tax positions.
- Manage multiple projects and communicate results to the team and leadership.
- Drive innovation and transformation within the tax organization.
- Develop and train tax analysts and/or tax interns.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, and/or a JD or LLM.
- 6 years of experience in international tax matters in consulting and/or compliance.
- Public accounting firm or large multi-national corporation experience.
- Knowledge of a broad range of international corporate tax matters such as foreign tax credits, dual consolidated losses, Subpart F, look-thru, GILTI, BEAT, and understanding of US international tax attributes.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, robust analytical skills, innovative thinking, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management skills - ability to drive results and meet deadlines.
- Experience training, supervising, and developing tax staff and/or interns.
- CorpTax and OneSource experience.
