Financial Planning and Analysis
- Support all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for the Company as part of the FP&A team
- Act as a point of contact for the local business units with responsibility for the various reporting requirements for monthly actuals, monthly and quarterly forecasts and annual budget
- Work closely with the Controller in supporting the preparation of period-end consolidated financial results for reporting
- Lead the design and implementation of tools for actuals, budgeting and forecasting across the business, driving efficiency, common analytics and processes to maximize insights and speed of decision making, leveraging Power BI and other analytical tools
- Analyze profit and loss income statements and prepare reports and recommendations to management
- Generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, operations, profitability and cash to recommend solutions and implementation of best practices across the business
- Identify and implement planning and analytical best practices
- Complete frequent ad-hoc analytical requests and projects upon request for CFO and CEO
- Responsible for Business Intelligence tools (Power BI), including database preparation and maintenance, report development, publication and analytical review with functional partners
- Leverage technology and optimize business intelligence tools and master data for transparent and flexible reporting
- Create financial modeling to inform future business planning decisions
- Evaluate process to drive efficiencies to improve company financial performance
- Develop and oversee a streamlined process for master data attributes critical for reporting and dashboard analytics
- Responsible for the Project Management Office, to include project tracking across functional teams of key initiatives
- Lead weekly and monthly meetings with project teams on deliverables and update project trackers; develop new trackers as necessary to support critical business objectives
- Publication of project trackers for GCP leadership and the Board
- Support functional teams on adherence to deadlines and meeting cadence
- Minimum 7-10 years of FP&A experience in a manufacturing environment
- Food manufacturing or food service experience in mid-size, private equity-backed company preferred, with consolidation experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or business related field required
- Ability to collect and prepare large amounts of data into analytical and visual interpretation via clear and concise reports
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, ERP, planning and management reporting tools; skill in business intelligence tools a plus
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Power BI experience is highly preferred)
- Understanding of US GAAP, financial concepts and accounting principles; full P&L and B/S responsibility highly desired
- Entrepreneurial spirit, agile, willing to pivot, try new things and test to success; start-up or early stage experience preferred given focus on redesigning workload and creating new processes
- Team-oriented individual with proven skills in inspiring cross functional teams and working collaboratively with other senior level colleagues
