Accounting & Financial Operations
- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Oversee general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and journal entry preparation and review
- Manage internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance standards
- Prepare and deliver timely financial reports and covenant compliance packages to lenders
- Manage and develop a small internal accounting team
- Support the CEO with annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling
- Conduct variance analysis and develop actionable insights for business unit leaders
- Design and deliver reporting packages and dashboards to senior leadership
- Develop and continuously monitor financial and operational KPIs across departments to drive decision-making
- Evaluate and enhance accounting processes to improve efficiency and scalability
- Support implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools
- Leverage automation and technology to streamline reporting and controls
- Act as a strategic partner to functional leaders ensuring financial visibility and discipline across departments
- Provide financial insights to support pricing strategies, margin optimization, and resource allocation decisions
- Collaborate with leadership to align financial plans with company-wide goals and operational execution
- Between 7-15 years of total accounting experience, including leadership of accounting or finance functions and prior Controllership experience preferred
- CPA preferred; public accounting experience strongly valued
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition under ASC 606 and other technical accounting standards
- Experience in a software, SaaS, or recurring-revenue business strongly preferred
- Proven track record managing monthly close processes and preparing financial statements
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ability to lead and manage a small team or external partners with accountability
