We are seeking a motivated and dependable Helper/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, with their tasks on-site
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, setting up for new installations.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely under supervision to support various trades
- Help with concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as needed
- Assist in installation tasks
- Support heavy equipment operation and site safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment
- Participate in construction inspection and quality control checks to ensure standards are met
- Follow instructions from supervisors for specific tasks
Skills
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction settings
- Experience or familiarity with construction site safety protocols
- Strong physical stamina for lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors or in confined spaces
- Construction site experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of construction management principles preferred
- Skills in plumbing, electrical work, concrete finishing, masonry, or welding are advantageous
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills
