We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation and a passion for accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Controller and finance operations by managing AP processes, contributing to the monthly close, and ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Process and code vendor invoices to the appropriate GL accounts
• Ensure timely payment of vendor bills and resolve any discrepancies
• Partner with Project Managers to validate and reconcile project-related payables
• Maintain detailed and organized vendor files
• Monitor AP aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
• Support process improvements to increase AP efficiency and accuracy

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
• Familiarity with construction billing processes (NTOs, Payapps, AIA forms) is a plus
• Experience with project and progress billing is highly valued
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Experience with inventory accounting and cycle counts preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
