Responsibilities & Essential Functions
- Serve as the main point of contact between housekeeping staff and management, ensuring clear and timely communication
- Communicate company expectations, updates, and policies to team members
- Relays employee concerns, feedback, and operational issues to management in a professional manner
- Inspects guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
- Train, coach, and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company standards
- Lead by example by assisting with cleaning duties as needed
- Monitor team performance, attendance, productivity, and conduct concerns
- Performs weekly administrative duties, ensuring all rooms are entered into company software and ensuring accuracy of housekeeping records
- Distribute, track, and collect required employee paperwork in a timely and organized manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and OSHA guidelines
- Address and help resolve guest concerns related to housekeeping services
- Maintain strong communication with other departments such as Front Desk and Maintenance
