The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components. Experience with Okuma CNC lathes is a strong plus. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Set up and operate CNC lathes for production of precision machined components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Troubleshoot machining and setup issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working order.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
- Previous CNC lathe setup experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with Okuma CNC lathes is highly preferred.
