Position Overview:
Aptiv is seeking a motivated and passionate Technical Sourcer to support hiring initiatives within the Talent Acquisition Team. This role will be based in Troy, MI, and will focus on identifying and engaging top diverse technical talent for North American and potentially global projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Diversity Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify and attract diverse talent pools, including but not limited to underrepresented minorities, women, LGBTQ , veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Candidate Engagement: Proactively engage with potential candidates through personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other platforms, effectively communicating Aptiv's commitment to diversity and inclusion. Pipeline Building: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of diverse technical talent for current and future hiring needs, ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates. Collaboration: Partner closely with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to understand hiring needs and develop tailored sourcing strategies to meet diversity hiring goals. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and best practices related to diversity hiring in the technical field, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing and engagement process, serving as a brand ambassador for Aptiv. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other relevant databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related study
- 1-2 years of experience in technical sourcing or recruitment, with a focus on diversity hiring preferred.
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
- Familiarity with diversity recruitment strategies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse candidates.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
