The Role
As a Part-Time Day Service Associate in Janesville, you will play a vital role in our adult day services program, supporting individuals with disabilities. Each day will bring new and exciting challenges, making this a perfect opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference.
Schedule and Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $16.60/hr
- Hours: Part-Time, 15-25 hours per week
- Flexibility: Shifts range from 3 to 8 hours
- Availability: Monday to Friday, daytime hours between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will vary and may include one of the following roles:
Group Staff Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging discussions and activities, such as art, wellness, cooking, science, and music.
- Bring your creativity to enhance existing curricula and ensure participant engagement.
1:1 Staff:
- Work individually or with a couple of participants to build specific skills or routines.
- Provide essential support for participants who require additional assistance, whether medical or behavioral.
Support Staff:
- Assist with breaks, personal care, range of motion exercises, cleaning, and other support tasks.
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable transportation with appropriate insurance
- Flexible availability
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with various software programs
