SAP MDM (MDG)

Role: Senior SAP MDG Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (hybrid – 2-3 days/week from office)

Duration: 06-12 months

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to lead and support Master Data Governance initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP MDG solutions to ensure accurate, consistent, and high-quality master data across business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG solutions for master data domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, etc.).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Execute end-to-end MDG processes, including data modeling, workflow, BRF , UI modeling, validations, and derivations.
• Perform system testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
• Lead data migration and data quality improvement efforts.
• Troubleshoot issues in SAP MDG and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with data governance standards and policies.
• Provide production support and continuous enhancements for MDG environments.
• Document functional designs, process flows, and configuration guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong experience in SAP MDG configuration and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with MDG data models, workflows, BRF , UI modeling, and FPM.
• Understanding of SAP ECC/S4 HANA master data and integration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP concepts related to MDG (basic debugging preferred).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with MDG on S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP MDM, data migration tools (BODS, MDG consolidation), or data quality tools.
• Prior experience in full-cycle MDG implementations.
• Experience working in agile or multi-client environments.
