What are the responsibilities and job description for the LDAR/ MOC Technician position at APTIM?
Job Overview:
The LDAR MOC Technician will perform tagging, documentation/updating and inspection of components in the LDAR program. Will perform a variety of applicable data collection and evaluation techniques. Develops and maintains records. Work often involves complex analyzers, instrumentation or equipment for gathering data and for optimizing system performance.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Maintain LDAR component inventory.
- Maintain the LDAR MOC program and perform applicability reviews.
- Perform tasks at assigned projectassigs.11¹1
- Daily Analyzer calibration.
- Routine repair and maintenance of analyzers.
- Quarterly certification of analyzers.
- Maintain and complete monitoring schedules.
- Maintain record keeping on monitoring and repairs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Will perform work in adverse weather conditions on the field (Work in hot/cold environments,
inclement weather) - Proficient understanding of PID's and LDAR tagging and inventory management.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
- Will be required to work at heights
- Ability to climb tower ladders 100 ft. , ascending/descending stairs up to ten flights or more
- Ability to bend, stretch, walk and climb with 30 lb. backpack - up to 10 hours a day on concrete
and/or steel surfaces - Ability to wear a full body harness and fall arrest system in addition to up to 30 lb. backpack
containing monitoring equipment - Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical

- Must have a valid Driver's License

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $28 per hour. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
