A Manufacturing Engineer at Client is responsible for turning engineering designs into real, production-ready spacecraft hardware. They ensure parts are manufactured, assembled, tested, and delivered efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards
.Key Responsibilitie
- sConvert engineering drawings into manufacturing work instructions
- .Support the manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of spacecraft hardware
- .Improve manufacturing processes to reduce cost, improve quality, and meet production schedules
- .Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly), FMEA, and root cause analysis
- .Resolve production issues, support rework, and implement corrective actions
- .Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of hardware
- .Develop manufacturing equipment, tooling, and production processes
.Required Skill
- sBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering
- .5 years of manufacturing or production engineering experience
- .Strong knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, tolerance analysis, machining, assembly, and testing
- .Experience with manufacturing process development and production planning
- .Familiarity with CAD and Microsoft Office
.Preferred Experienc
- eAerospace, defense, or spacecraft manufacturing
- .Electric motors, avionics, wire harnesses, propulsion, or thermal systems
- .Setting up new production lines or manufacturing cells
