Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Payment Poster to join our Medical Biling team at our office located in Glen Burnie, MD. Our ideal candidate needs to have excellent communication and time management skills, be well organized with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What you'll need -
- Be available to work Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM
- MUST have excellent communication/phone skills.
- Strong phone, computer and data entry skills are a must. (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Adobe)
- Experience with Personal Injury and Workers Comp cases are a plus
- Experience with electronic billing systems, medical terminology, and medical records is needed. (Training will also be provided) Just bring energy and a great attitude to the office.
- Having the ability to multitask in a busy and evolving clinic environment is essential.
- 1 - 2 Years of medical office experience is required.
- Owning a personal vehicle to get to and from the office is needed.
- Have a High School Degree or Equivalent.
Some Responsibilities
- Accurately post payments received from insurance companies, patients, and other payers
- Input data; records and verifies details of transactions in logs, journals, ledgers, and automated systems
- Data entry: Accurately record account information and save documents into the appropriate client files.
- Update and daily check database as to checks assigned
- Responsible for collecting, posting, and managing account payments
- Ensure claim information is complete and accurate upon posting
- Efficiently manage your phone/email correspondence, and maintain consistent, professional, verbal, digital and written communication with clients and Team Members.
- Maintain patient confidence and protect medical office operations by keeping patient information confidential.
- Perform other assigned administrative/billing and records duties, as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
