Aprile USA is looking for an experienced Project Pricing Manager to join our Houston team.
This role is responsible for leading pricing activities for strategic freight opportunities, supporting commercial growth and ensuring competitive, profitable pricing across multiple transportation modes. You'll work closely with sales, operations and leadership teams while driving continuous improvements to pricing processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead pricing activities for project and strategic freight opportunities across all transport modes
- Develop competitive pricing strategies that maximise profitability
- Prepare pricing proposals, cost models and customer quotations
- Analyse transportation costs, market trends and lane profitability
- Collaborate with sales, operations and overseas offices to deliver timely pricing solutions
- Monitor pricing performance and recommend strategic improvements
- Support carrier relationship management and transportation network optimisation
- Conduct financial analysis for strategic customer opportunities
- Lead, coach and develop the pricing team
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of pricing experience within the freight forwarding industry
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of international freight forwarding and transportation pricing
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and database management tools
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
