Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and mission-driven Clinician to support children in reaching their highest potential. You’ll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while delivering high-quality, child- and family-centered services aligned with best practices and ethical standards. The Clinician is responsible for providing individual, family and couples therapy at Alegria Family Counseling. The Clinician will provide interventions based on the initial evaluation to support the individual and / or family needs.The Clinician will work with the clients developing a treatment plan to meet the clients’ needs and provide quality and prompt documentation to the Alegria billing according to clinical guidelines.
Work Requirements:
- The Clinician provides therapeutic services, developing a treatment plan and utilizing evidence-based practices to meet goals of the client as indicated by the initial assessment.
- Maintains the Alegria Clinic documentation and billing requirements using the required software and meets all deadline requirements.
- Provides face-to-face / Telehealth services to clients to maintain a supportive and encouraging environment.
- Effective at building relationships with children, adults, families, and community agencies.
- Ability to think and write critically.
- The Clinician position in the Alegria Family Counseling Program educates clients who qualify for the services. The services and activities provided are determined by evidence-based practices.
- The duties of the position are to provide the tools to empower clients to make informed decisions to access and receive services.
- When a client enters the program, the Clinician develops a written treatment plan stating the needs of the client, the goals, and a transition plan for exiting the program when goals are achieved.
- The Clinician completes and maintains the treatment plan allowing continued services.
- Conducts and participates in screening, assessments, and monitoring of goals.
- The Clinician will discuss what improvements can be made for the client.
- Complete documents the required service note for each scheduled session each week.
- Completes all required documentation for the client according to Alegria guidelines, polices, and procedures.
- Meets all Alegria Program deadlines and training requirements in a timely manner.
- If applicable, the Clinician will receive required supervision as needed within the guidelines of the program standards.
- Coordinates and conducts all assessments as well as writing the treatment plan.
- Assist clients in identifying and accessing all available services and resources in the community.
- Informs clients of advocacy services and empowering the client to enhance their own skills.
- Facilitates the development of a transition process for each client.
- Gathers and researches resource information for the client and makes referrals where appropriate.
- All other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Education: Master’s degree or higher from an approved and accredited educational program in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling.
- Obtaining a State of New Mexico valid independent practitioner license. LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
- Experience in providing therapeutic services to families, adults, children, and couples in a therapeutic setting.
- Bilingual skills English/Spanish are a plus.
- Ability to work in a changing environment gathering relevant information to integrate a change or modify a program.
- Ability to offer treatment sessions that present an opportunity for the client to meet their goals.
- Must be a team player, and able to collaborate with clinic staff to support Alegria Family Services mission Has experience in crisis intervention Required Documents.

Physical Requirements
This role may require the ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed throughout the workday. Some positions may require driving; a valid driver’s license and safe driving ability may be required.
