Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst 3

An aerospace client is looking for a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst  to Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.


Location: Palmdale CA (Onsite)
Position: Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst 
Pay Rate: $79.96/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 5 months or longer
Schedule: (M-F) 8am to 5pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
• Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
• Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
• Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
  

• Experience a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and experience developing/maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and project management principles. 
  

• Previous experience working for an aerospace and Defense Company.
• Experience with specialized tools, including Deltek Cobra and Deltek Acumen Risk.
• Expert-level MS Project skills and Excel Macro/VBA skills.
• Experience with Resource Loaded Schedules (RLS), Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)
• Direct experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and familiarity with DCMA health metrics.
• Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) and/or Special Compartmented Information Access (SCI) is frequently required but not needed to start
