An aerospace client is looking for a Harness Technician who willManufacture cable / harness products.
Location: Gilbert, AZ 85233 (Onsite)
Position: Harness Technician
Pay Rate: $47.88/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 9x80 A
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 12:30am)
Overview:
A Cable and Harness Technician to support our Gilbert Manufacturing Center. As a member of the Harness Manufacturing department, you’ll get to embark on a career putting innovative, reliable, and agile products and ideas into orbit, and beyond. This position will serve on-site at our Gilbert, AZ Campus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• US Citizenship is required.
• High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 5 additional years of education and/or relevant experience in assembly, electronics, manufacturing, production or logistics
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical assembly and wiring.
• Must be capable of successfully completing certification to IPC WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness Assembly) and NASA-J-STD.
• Experience reading drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Exceptional mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) and Crimping Experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Graduate from Technical Trade School
•Current certification to IPC WHMA-A-620, NASA-J-STD; or other certifications in electronics assembly and workmanship.
•Experience with MES applications including workflow, signoff and documentation.

- Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed.

- Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.
