APR Consulting, Inc. has been engaged to identify an Open Enrollment Specialist
Location: Sacramento, CA 95833
Position: Open Enrollment Specialist
Pay Rate: $25.60/hr
Duration: 52 weeks
Expected Shift: 24-40 hrs/week
Assignment runs from October 1 through December 15.
Expected 24–40 hours per week depending on event volume.
No fixed daily schedule; work is event-based and somewhat on call.
*NEED BILINGUAL SPANISH SPEAKING CANDIDATES*
We are seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to assist the Sales & Account Management Team as an Open Enrollment Specialist. This position requires a friendly and engaging demeanor. Our ideal candidate has prior sales or open enrollment experience, and knowledge of both the health insurance industry and HIPAA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Attend Benefit/Health Fairs, Wellness Events, and Open Enrollment Meetings.
Educate customers about plan offerings and answer questions from employers, prospective/existing members, and brokers.
Represent Sutter Health Plan with professionalism and strong customer service skills.
Perform some data entry tasks as needed.
Events will generally be scheduled in advance, but flexibility is required to meet open enrollment needs.
Work Location & Travel
Positions available in the Valley Area and Bay Area.
Work is onsite at events (not remote).
Travel is required, including pickup and drop-off of materials at Sutter Health Plan sites.
Mileage and lodging are reimbursable/expensable as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual skills are highly preferred, especially Spanish.
Bilingual candidates are particularly needed for Sonoma and Santa Clara events but are valued across all regions.
Prior open enrollment, benefits education, or sales experience strongly preferred.
