Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Sr Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator position within their high-technology defense systems team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support manufacturing operations by building, integrating, inspecting, and testing complex electronic and mechanical assemblies used in mission-critical defense technologies. The position is based in Charleroi, PA and is fully on-site.

Position: Sr Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator
Contract Length: 12–24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay: $32.83/hour
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience; AA Degree or manufacturing certification preferred
Schedule: First Shift
Clearance Requirement: Secret Clearance Obtainable (U.S. citizenship required)
In this role, you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to:
- Perform moderately complex production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Build and integrate hardware for prototypes, assemblies, and large complex systems.
- Fabricate RF, multi-function cables, harnesses, and solder ribbons/strip line components for RF performance.
- Perform fabrication, inspection, and testing functions in research, production, or pre-production environments.
- Load and configure customer or standard software on customer devices.
- Perform advanced fabrication, assembly, and marking activities.
- Conduct inspection and testing activities while ensuring adherence to quality specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong experience with electronic and mechanical assembly operations.
- Ability to build and integrate complex systems and hardware assemblies.
- Knowledge of RF cable and harness fabrication techniques.
- Experience with soldering ribbons and strip line components for RF performance.
- Ability to load and configure customer/standard software on devices.
- Solid understanding of statistics and SPC (Statistical Process Control) applications.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in fast-paced environments.
- Team-oriented mindset with commitment to collaboration and continuous learning.
- Interest in applying AI and automation for continuous improvement and innovation.
