What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Support Analyst position at Appy Pie LLP?
1. Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Tools ( WORD, PPT, OUTLOOK, TEAMS, Excel)
2. Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery (IT) experience
3. Moderate understanding of IT technology (DB, Middleware, network, Websphere)
4. Project management skills for small to medium size projects
5. Experience in the Agile methodology (JIRA)
1. Strong interpersonal skills to include effectively communicating, coordinating and disseminating detailed information to support IT DR /resiliency across multiple teams and various levels of management and staff within the organization.
2. Strong problem solving, analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills; demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, data, and technical details with desired business outcomes, and produce sound analysis and recommendations.

4. Strong written communication skills to include developing post-test summaries, customer communications, and process documentation.

-Day-to-day Expectations: participate in all facets of the planning , coordinating and supporting IT DR testing, documentation updating, participating in the daily agile process with JIRA/ KANBAN style work
-30-60-90 Day Expectation: 30 days – learning the ropes, 60 days – starting to gain knowledge to shadow colleague in testing coordination and support – 90 day showing the ability to independently support an IT application failover – recovery test.
-Interview Plan/Process: initial interview with me (sr. manager) – then panel with me and select staff
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
