Role Description
This is a part time mobile on-site role for a Phlebotomist located in Crawfordsville, IN. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing blood draws in HOMES collecting specimens, adhering to medical standards, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during the collection process. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of specimens and collaborating effectively with medical professionals to support accurate diagnosis and care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Blood Collection techniques, including venipuncture and handling of lab specimens
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and core concepts in Laboratory Skills
- Experience in Medical Assisting and a strong understanding of processes in Medicine
- Outstanding patient interaction skills and attention to detail
- Valid phlebotomy certification and adherence to relevant regulatory requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in healthcare is a plus
- Ability to manage time effectively and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
