Role Description
This is a part-time internship supporting social media and content creation for Approachable Apparel. We are intentionally hiring a small cohort of 3–4 interns to work closely with the founder.
Candidates based in Southern California (Irvine/Orange County area preferred) are strongly favored for occasional in-person content capture, photoshoots, or brand moments. Remote candidates will also be considered for social media support and editing.
The intern will assist with creating engaging short-form content, supporting social media execution, and helping bring the brand’s storytelling to life across platforms. This role is hands-on, creative, and collaborative.
Responsibilities
- Assist with filming short-form content (Reels / TikToks), primarily using an iPhone
- Support content ideation, trends research, and creative brainstorming
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage during shoots or brand activities
- Perform basic video editing (CapCut, iMovie, or similar tools)
- Assist with post scheduling and day-to-day social media execution
- Collaborate closely with the founder to ensure content aligns with brand voice and mission
Qualifications
- Interest or experience in social media marketing or content creation
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with digital audiences
- Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics and storytelling
- Organized, reliable, and responsive
- Basic familiarity with social media analytics is a plus
- Familiarity with graphic design or video editing tools is a bonus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (preferred, not required)
- Genuine interest in storytelling and human connection
