Army Modeling and Simulation Office (AMSO) - Ft Belvoir, VA

Security Clearance: Secret
Must have completed FA57/CP36 Simulation Operations Basic Course
Summary:
Knowledgeable on all aspects of Army and TRADOC Regulation 350 series; demonstrated experience operating within TRADOC training organizations; demonstrated experience the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model in support of a major DoD Training and Educational Program; demonstrated experience with tactical and operational level employment of Army and Joint models and simulations is required.
Required Experience:
- 3 years of experience in M&S or related disciplines and systems in an Army or DoD organization
- Or 2 to 5 years teaching M&S related processes and systems in an Army or DoD organization
- Or a minimum of three (3) years progressive experience in curriculum design, courseware development, and instruction/training positions with a technical background
- Subject matter expertise in Knowledge Management and previous experience as Division or Corps KM officer within the last 3-4 years.
- Strong capability in the use of Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams, Power Automate, and Power BII.
- Subject matter expertise in Army Modernization and previous experience as a Capability Manager, MDEP Manager, or Cross Functional Team member within the last 3-4 years. This includes expertise in the Program Objective Memorandum (POM), organization and functions of Army Futures Command, and a deep knowledge of how the Army collects requirements and conducts the Modernization process.
Required Education:
- Bachelor and/or Master's degrees;
- Completion of FA57/CP36 Simulation Operations Basic Course
- Graduate of CGSC or ILE if former military officer or Commensurate Professional Military Education
Required Certifications:
- TRADOC Foundation Training Development Course (or equivalent)
- TRADOC certified Experiential Learning Model (ELM) facilitator (or equivalent) Blackboard Learn Training Readiness Certification
- Instructors that facilitate KM lessons must have been awarded ASI 1E (Knowledge Management)

Working Environment:
The usual daily work conditions will be in an office environment. The job requires occasional lifting of computer and other equipment, generally not in excess of 50 lbs., usually in connection with equipment transport to off-site locations for events.
