Job Description

ATFI has an immediate opening for a spray coating technician to assist in our products for aerospace applications.  The person will be responsible for performing all aspects of spray coating set up, coating operations, utilizing hand spray, automated spray systems, and other proprietary coating equipment on a regular basis. Familiarity with handling of solvent-based paints and procedures associated with protective personal equipment.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

·        Completed certification of training as an automotive paint technician with 1-2 years of industry experience

·        Organized, self-starter, and disciplined to maintain clean facilities with routine maintenance

·        Proficiency with basic machine shop tools (saw, drill press, wire cutter)

·        Knowledge of vacuum pumps or related systems a plus

·        A team player who works well with others and can collaborate effectively and productively

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills
