Overview
Applied Test Systems, located in East Butler, PA, is a leading manufacturer of materials testing and process heating equipment. We specialize in designing and producing state-of-the-art materials testing and process heating solutions for a variety of global markets. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to drive business growth by providing tailored solutions to our customers. You will collaborate closely with our Outside Sales Engineers, Production and Engineering teams, leveraging your technical proficiency and customer support skills to deliver exceptional service and close complex deals. Limited travel may be required. Local candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their materials testing equipment needs and provide customized solutions that align with their objectives.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to resolve customer issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to design solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by utilizing Salesforce system.
- Assist clients with technical support issues, ensuring timely resolution and fostering long-term relationships through excellent communication and service.
- Manage project timelines, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and contribute to deal closing strategies to secure new business opportunities.
Experience
- A 2-4 year degree or 1 years of proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office.
- Familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple projects simultaneously and collaborating across teams.
- Mechanical or electrical background is a plus.
