Applied Laboratories is seeking dependable and safety-focused Material Handlers to join our dedicated Weekend Production Crew. This position supports warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and material handling activities that keep our manufacturing operations running efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Schedule
  • Friday through Sunday
  • Three 12-hour shifts
  • Premium weekend rate
  • Work 3 days while earning the equivalent of a 40-hour workweek
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Load and unload materials using forklifts after completing required training and authorization.
  • Perform warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities.
  • Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Operate electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as trained.
  • Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and material tracking activities.
  • Verify item counts and ensure accurate movement and storage of materials.
  • Support housekeeping and warehouse organization efforts.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including balers, as trained.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and material handling records.
  • Follow established inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse procedures.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and warehouse team members to support operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic math and counting skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
  • Manufacturing or distribution environment experience is a plus.
Work Environment

This position works in a warehouse and manufacturing environment and requires compliance with all safety, GMP, housekeeping, and PPE requirements. Employees must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, push, pull, and lift materials throughout the shift. The role involves working around forklifts, warehouse traffic, production equipment, noise, chemicals, temperature-controlled areas, and other typical warehouse conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods is required.

Training and Onboarding

Any additional training required for weekend operations will be conducted during weekday first-shift hours to support a successful transition into the role.
