FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. As an Inbound-Inside Sales Representative with FCX Performance/Corrosion Fluid Products, you will establish and expand relationships with current customers and our outside sales team. You’ll spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their process flow control and instrumentation needs, while providing solutions to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results!

Job Summary

Inside Sales provides technical assistance to customers and outside sales teams. The position is responsible for making product recommendations based on customer application; interpreting plant specifications; securing project take-offs; preparing quotations; tracking projects; processing orders; and many additional tasks as required that contribute to the improved efficiency of our customer base.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Develop thorough technical understanding of products and applications.
  • Provide solutions to customer’s applications.
  • Provide technical support to sales team and customer base for daily requirements as well as project opportunities.
  • Assist customers with material specification, take-off & selection.
  • Determine pricing and margins. Prepare quotations, process orders, follow order to ensure critical delivery dates are met
  • Work with procurement and finance departments as needed.

Essential Physical Functions/Equipment Used

  • Able to tackle multiple projects while being organized, detail, and deadline oriented.
  • Excellent internal & external communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and task management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Previous experience with Prophet21 (P21) or similar CRM/ERP systems preferred
  • Candidates must be able to work within a team organization, multi-task, meet deadlines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Associate Degree required. Preferred in Business or Mechanical Engineering
