Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Inbound: Receive incoming shipments, verify packing slips against physical inventory, and inspect for damage.
- Technical Picking: Accurately pull hydraulic hoses, pumps, valves, and fittings based on digital or paper pick tickets.
- Quality Control: Ensure all outgoing components meet quality standards and are packaged securely to prevent leaks or damage during transit.
- Hose & Fitting Management: Organize and stock specialized inventory, including "binning" small fittings and managing heavy spools of hydraulic hose.
- Logistics Coordination: Prepare shipping labels and documentation for LTL (Less Than Truckload) and small parcel carriers (UPS/FedEx).
- Warehouse Maintenance: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely while maintaining a clean, "5S" standard workspace.
- Experience: 1–2 years in a warehouse environment; experience with industrial or automotive parts (hydraulics, pneumatics, or HVAC) is a huge plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
- Certifications: Forklift certification preferred (we will provide training if needed).
- Precision: An eye for detail—in the world of hydraulics, a 1/16" difference in a fitting size matters.
