Applied Connective Technologies is a locally owned technology company based in Albion, Nebraska, with offices in Columbus, Norfolk, Lincoln, Elkhorn and Ogallala. We take care of IT, phone systems, physical security, infrastructure and audio/video for businesses, schools, healthcare and local governments across Nebraska. We're hiring an IT Field Services Technician in Columbus to be the friendly, in-person expert our clients count on.

What you'll do

• Travel to client offices to set up computers, printers and mobile devices
• Handle hardware swaps, office moves and technology refresh projects
• Fix technology issues in person, and provide remote support when needed
• Make sure everything works before you leave, then document the job
• Keep clients and teammates in the loop

What success looks like

• 90% positive client feedback
• 95% of work completed on schedule and documented

What you'll bring

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Solid troubleshooting skills and a basic understanding of business technology
• The ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities
• Organization, attention to detail and thorough documentation
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client locations
• The ability to safely lift and install equipment up to 50 lbs

Nice to have

• Field service or onsite IT support experience
• Experience with Microsoft 365, printers, scanners, mobile devices and network connectivity
• CompTIA A , Network or Microsoft certifications

The details

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., immediate start
• Based in our Columbus office at 3629 23rd St.
• A full background check is required
