Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to individuals with autism and other behavioral health challenges. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals in the field of special education.
Duties
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior changes.
- Provide direct support to clients, focusing on behavior management and skill acquisition.
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to ensure effective service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, including data collection and documentation of client progress.
- Assist in developing new strategies for behavioral therapy tailored to each client's needs.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special needs, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and principles is highly desirable.
- Experience in patient care or behavioral health settings is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- A background in special education or related fields will be considered an asset.
