Lead a dynamic team

You will build and mentor a team of Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators.


Build industry relationships

You will develop your own book of business while building relationships with clients, architects, construction managers, brokers, property managers, and subcontractors, representing the company at presentations and industry events.


What you will be doing

The role oversees complex commercial construction projects, leading a team of construction professionals from concept through completion, safely and efficiently. The team works with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft platforms, and you will interact daily with professionals across the industry, especially clients.


As Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Prepare bids and budgets and respond to formal RFPs
  • Participate in interviews to help secure new work
  • Lead pricing, value engineering, site selection, and building assessments
  • Develop site logistics plans
  • Build detailed project schedules alongside superintendents
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners
  • Oversee procurement, cost, and change management
  • Run weekly project meetings with clients and subcontractors
  • Manage punch lists and project closeout
  • Own project accounting, financial projections, reporting, and AR collections


What we are looking for

  • 7 to 10 years of construction experience including supervising superintendents and project staff
  • Experience with laboratory space renovation is a plus (chemistry, biology, vivarium, cGMP manufacturing, electronics labs, clean rooms)
  • Experience managing medium to large or multiple projects simultaneously
  • Four year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • LEED accreditation preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and support business development
  • Experience mentoring colleagues and contributing to staff reviews
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, and PlanGrid
  • Strong estimating and scheduling skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication


Compensation and benefits

  • Up to $200,000 per year depending on experience, location, and qualifications, with a sign on bonus available in some cases. Benefits include an ESOP, competitive medical insurance with HSA options and employer contributions, dental, vision, 401k matching, unlimited PTO, life insurance, FSA, gym reimbursement, and optional benefits including pet insurance and identity theft protection.


Salary : $180,000 - $200,000
