Position Overview:
The Leasing Specialist is responsible for supporting the leasing process from initial inquiry through move-in, helping to maintain high occupancy levels and a positive resident experience. This role combines customer service, sales, and administrative responsibilities within a residential or commercial property environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate information on availability, pricing, and property features
Conduct property tours and effectively communicate the value of the community to prospective residents
Manage the application process, including screening, documentation, and lease preparation
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current availability, pricing, and market conditions
Follow up with prospects to convert leads into signed leases
Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts
Maintain accurate records in property management systems and CRM tools
Support marketing efforts, including online listings and social media updates
Collaborate with maintenance and property management teams to ensure unit readiness
Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents
Qualifications:
Previous experience in leasing, property management, sales, or customer service preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Comfortable using property management software and Microsoft Office
Professional, approachable, and customer-focused demeanor
Compensation & Schedule:
Competitive base pay with potential for leasing bonuses or commissions
Schedule may include weekends and flexible hours based on business needs
