Position: IT Access Support Specialist
REMOTE from any of these states: AL, CT, FL, GA, IN, KY, ME, MA, MD, MI, NH, NC, NJ, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VT, VA, WV
Annual Salary: $50-$60K/yr. (dependent upon experience)
The IT Access Support Specialist position is an operational IT support role specializing in application access administration. This role executes access requests based on documented processes and required approvals while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support efficient user access. Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. is a role requirement. NOTE: May also require evening and weekend work in response to business needs.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline access, provision workflows, and enhance security controls.
• Provision, modify, and deprovision user access across internal and client-facing applications.
• Process access requests in accordance with documented procedures and required approvals.
• Maintain detailed documentation for access requests, configurations, and approvals.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes by coordinating timely systems access changes.
• Focusing on accurate execution of access changes and coordination with IT Support and business teams.
• Liaise between IT Support and business units regarding application access.
• Identify recurring access issues and escalate appropriately.
• Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support when not engaged in access provisioning activities.
Qualifications:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• 2 years’ experience in user access administration, application support, and IT support.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. May require evening and weekend work in response to business needs.
• Ability to work remotely with limited travel as required.
