HR Generalist (Bilingual Spanish) in Santa Ana, CA (Onsite)
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
We are seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) HR Generalist to support and enhance daily Human Resources operations at our Santa Ana office. This role plays a key part in the full employee lifecycle, employee relations, benefits administration, HR compliance, and reinforcing company policies and culture. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, discreet, and comfortable navigating both administrative responsibilities and employee-facing situations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, employee changes, and offboarding
Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), FSA, and wellness offerings
Conduct benefits orientations and guide employees through self-enrollment systems
Partner with leadership and employees on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and corrective action
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
Track and maintain compliance documentation for mandatory trainings, certifications, and licensure
Support payroll processing (experience with Paycom is a plus)
Maintain and update HRIS systems, including employee changes, promotions, discipline, and reporting
Assist with Workers’ Compensation administration and claims support
Coordinate employee engagement, communication initiatives, and wellness activities
Administer performance review processes and HR policies and procedures
Respond to employee and applicant HR inquiries, escalating sensitive matters as needed
Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory updates
Support audits, reporting, and regulatory submissions
Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs
Ability to enforce HR policies consistently and professionally
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred
Detail-oriented, self-directed, and dependable
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
3 years of Human Resources experience preferred
HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred, not required
Experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace/Defense environments is a plus
